SENIOR OF THE YEAR

Congratulations to Ray Stortini on being named the Township of St. Joseph’s Senior of the Year.

PROPOSED ROAD NAME CHANGE

Take Notice that Council proposes to change the name of the highway presently known as Lookout Drive to Riverside Drive. The proposed by-law will come before Council at it’s regular meeting on July 8^th, 2003 at 8:00 p.m. at the Municipal Administration Building at 1669 Arthur Street in Richards Landing. At that time Council will hear any person claiming they will be adversely affected and who applies to be heard. Written comments on the proposed by-law will be received at the Municipal Office during regular office hours.

Openings are available on the following committees for the balance of the current term which ends on November 30, 2003. If you would like to volunteer to serve in one or more of these committees, then please contact the Township Office.

GARBAGE DUMP HOURS

Sundays and Wednesdays  -  2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Mondays and Saturdays  -  8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

SUMMER  MUNICIPAL  OFFICE  HOURS

 Effective until September 1, 2003
8:00 a.m.  to  4:00 p.m.
