When the Sault Anglers
Club folded, the St. Joseph Island Hunters and Anglers Association had
an opportunity to takeover use of the former group's trout pond.
This "live" catch trout
pond allows youngster to experience the thrill of catching real fish and
is one of the Association's newest fundraising initiatives.

The trout pond is a popular event with youngster at community events
such as the St. Joseph Island Cornfest each year in Richards Landing.
