| Each year,
the St. Joseph Island Hunters and Anglers Association offers bursaries
to outstanding students at Sault College and St. Joseph Island Central
School. These bursaries are awarded to one student in each school
that excels in volunteer work in conservation areas.
In 2002, a new bursary
was established in memory of the late Shirley MacKay. This bursary is
awarded to Central Algoma Secondary School graduates who are continuing
their education in the natural resource field. |
